Set your tiles and settle in—Wednesday afternoons at 38 West are for guided open play American Mahjong! Our midcentury-cosmic coworking space offers the perfect vibe for connection, competition, and community.
These sessions are built for players who already know their way around the table and want to refine their game with a teacher present to sharpen strategy, timing, and decision‑making. You’re comfortable with the rules, you’ve played enough to have opinions, and you’re ready to level up from “I get it” to “I’m dangerous.”
We’ll focus on reading the table, improving defensive awareness, tightening hand selection, and navigating tricky situations with confidence. Whether you want to polish specific rules, break old habits, or push your gameplay into a more competitive lane, this is where your skills get tuned and elevated.
